It seems that a pro-gambling lobby group in Texas has chosen a name similar to our "Let Texas Decide" petition effort, thereby creating a large amount of traffic to our website. If you have reached us through their efforts, the message below is for you.

In the upcoming legislative session, the Texas Legislature has signaled that it will tackle an issue that has been bubbling under the surface of Texas politics for many years.

GAMBLING!

But in reality, Texans have been gambling for a very long time. As each and every day passes Texans lose their jobs, debt increases past the $16 trillion mark and our freedom and independence is taken from us.

The real gamble for Texas is in waiting to take action to secure our freedom and independence.

Every day that we wait to take this step, we risk passing the point of no return and rolling "snake eyes" with our future on the line.

Let's just look at the cards in our hand.

• Texas has one of the largest economies in the world
• Texas is a global net exporter and global leader in agriculture, energy, technology, medicine and nearly every other major market segment
• Texas is responsible for over $300 billion per year in government revenue
• Texas has our own well-equipped and capable State military
• Texas has a world-class infrastructure, labor force and a "can-do" culture that is fiercely independent

This is the Texas version of a "Royal Flush".

Betting on the politicians in Washington and Austin is a "sucker bet". The safe bet is in you and your fellow Texans working together for a free and independent Texas.
