Tammy Blair, business owner, political activist and recent candidate for the Texas Senate will speak during the first-ever Texas Independence Conference hosted by the Texas Nationalist Movement Nov. 3.
A native Texan, Blair is a well-known political figure.
Member of several Tea Party and grassroots groups throughout Texas including the Dallas Tea Party, Fort Worth Tea Party, Arlington Tea Party, San Antonio Tea Party, the East Texas Constitution Alliance, Tyler Liberty Alliance. She is also the retired Chair of Tyler Tea Party.
In addition to her work in grassroots organizations she is an active member of Cherokee County Republican Club and is a Regional Constitution Ambassador for the Constitution Lobby of Texas.
Most recently Blair became the Smith County coordinator for Texas Nationalist Movement.
She also recently completed a run for Texas Senate in District 3 against career politician Robert Nichols and has not ruled out a future run for office.
Blair holds a Bachelor of Arts (Major: Psychology, Minor: Business Administration) and Masters of Science (Psychology).
The Texas Independence Conference will be held November 3, 2012 at Washington-On-The-Brazos and will feature an expert line up of speakers and events centered around the issues of freedom and independence for Texas.
