The Declaration of Independence, The Articles of Confederation, The Federalist Papers, and The US Constitution with its Bill of Rights are documents which Americans hold dear even though most Americans these days haven't a clue what these documents really say and what they really mean, nor the principles they set forth. They speak volumes on the subject of liberty, property rights, freedom, and the proper role of government. No reasonably sane person can read them and honestly say the US government has remained within the bounds of the Constitution or fulfilled its duties and obligations according to the Constitution. Children are taught from a very early age about American Exceptionalism and the virtues of the United States Government. As adults people remain adamantly loyal to the United States Government. That is where their loyalty lies. Many times if you question the reasons for their loyalty they will quickly tell you "if you don't like it then why don't you just leave, find another country, America-love her or leave her." Before I question the reasons for their loyalty here, let me say it is not "America" and her founding documents that I despise; it is the US government which I despise. A government which is malicious, all powerful, over bearing, and hypocritical at home while despotic, aggressive, tyrannical, and hypocritical abroad. Everything it has it has stolen. It has amassed a debt which the tax payers can never repay, saddling our grandchildren and great grandchildren with debt, poverty, and slavery. It spies on its own, tortures, it persecutes and prosecutes falsely, withholds the truth, steals, redistributes wealth, lies, inflates, usurps and denies powers left to the States and the people, gropes its citizens including old ladies and children, has the largest prison population in the world, puts our brave military in harms way under false pretenses, refuses to protect and secure our borders, and in general profanes, abrogates, ignores, and desecrates the very documents and principles which Americans "hold" so dear. What good is a Bill of Rights when those rights are stolen and trampled by all three Branches of the US Government?

My fellow Texans and Americans, the fact is the US Government is corrupt to the core, massive, powerful, and so broken that it cannot be fixed. The good news is that there is an alternative. Texans can fix Texas, then Texas and Texans can stand tall in the world, free, independent, and truly indivisible, with true Liberty and true Justice for all. Texas has the resources, the means, and the people with a desire for Liberty, Freedom, and Prosperity. An Independent Texas can not only make it through the tough times but it can flourish and set an example of the benefits of a truly limited government, protecting our unalienable rights, and encouraging our pursuit of happiness. Texas can be that shining city on a hill to the benefit of all. People are looking to Texas to take the lead and show them the way out of the grips of Leviathan. The people of Texas will show the rest of the world how to do this in a peaceful, legal, legislative manner,
